Hi every one this is James. I am about to write my first weekly blog post for Convergence Journalism.
The article I found is on CNN.com, I have put a link to the article bellow.
http://www.cnn.com/2017/09/06/us/hurricane-irma-puerto-rico-florida/index.html
some things the reporter did well are , for one thing the head line of the story. does give a very. brief. summary. of the article and does get your attention. also., the head line was configured properly. another thing I noticed was the lead paragraph does answer the what, where, when, and why and also is able to get your attention.
Some things I think the reporters could have done better are, some of the information was repetitive. Such as the fact that the article mentions where evacuations are taking place multiple times. Also, the body. paragraphs seemed some what long .
some things I. will use in my reporting are, the configuration of the headline will be a good thing to review. Also, I will. be sure. to list what is going on, who this effects, where this is happening, and why this is happening. I will also be sure to use the length of the lead paragraph.
