Procedure Video

Hello everyone, this is James, and I have completed my first video project for sophomore year.
My assignment was to chose a procedure in my agenda and film it. My partner and I decided to cover plagiarism.

First, we were taught how to use the cameras, next we drew up a story board and found out where we were going to film. Later, we started to film our shots. I quickly found out we needed a third person for one of our shots. It took a few days to finish filming our video, but we got it done on time.  When I got the files I needed of my SD card,  I went straight to editing and I had a massive amount of it to do but the video turned out to be excellent.

So far I have learned how to use the Panasonic cameras, the importance of white balancing the camera, and how to edit in a completely new software. Next time I will add a music track to my video. I'm going to keep the timings on my video.  I got some good feedback from my classmates about the timings.

For my next project I'll know to get just the right angle when filming a computer monitor, make sure the camera is secure on the tripod and repeatedly check the camera's white balance.

I think this project will help me complete my next project now that I've learned the camera's basic functions and have limited knowledge on how to use the new editing software.
